Josh Flitter About Me
I was discovered as an actor when I was four years old. Tamara Markowitz, a manager in my hometown in New Jersey, called my mom to ask if her daughter could play with my older brother Scott. When she met me, she wanted to get me into the business—and she did! At fourteen, I’ve been in lots of commercials and big-screen hits like "The Greatest Game Ever Played," "Big Momma’s House 2," "Nancy Drew," "License to Wed," "Horton Hears a Who!" and the upcoming "Ace Ventura Jr: Pet Detective," where I play Ace Ventura’s son.
Besides acting, I love sports—especially hockey. I am a huge, mega New York Rangers fan. Every single year they get better! It's the most amazing thing in the world to see them play at Madison Square Garden. My favorite player of all time is Brian Leetch, but I also really like Henrik Lundqvist and Marc Staal.
I also love my dogs, Richter and Lucy. Richter is a big, fat beagle—he's the cutest dog in the world. Lucy is a Bichon-Poodle mix (well, we're pretty sure she is). My love of dogs got me interested in the North Shore Animal League, which raises money to place animals in homes. You can read more about the charities I'm involved with in the Charities section of my Web site.
If I'm not working, I like going to the movies, playing videogames, watching the Rangers beat the Devils, and playing hockey with my friends.
